Singles holidays can be great fun, exciting and an excellent way to meet new people and make life-long friends. Many people still think that going on holiday on your own can be somewhat scary and boring. However, if you follow some of these top tips, they can be just as enjoyable as going on holiday with someone.
Important tips to survive and enjoy singles holidays;
1/ If you are going with an organised group, check out the size of the group & age range of group. You may feel intimidated by a large group or feel uncomfortable with an older group for example. Find out so you know in advance.
2/ Always research the holiday destination. Find out where the best beaches are, if there are any singles nights at the local hotels or bars, whether there are tour guides to show you around the resort etc.
3/ If you want to make friends, look out for others who are on their own and ask them politely if they wouldn’t mind if you joined them.
4/ Choose where to eat out carefully. You don’t want to eat in cosy dimly-lit romantic restaurants, look out for quite busy places where other people are dining alone so you don’t feel out of place. Don’t sit their miserable, have a smile on your face and people will approach you.
5/ Always ask at the hotel or resort about any areas they advise not to visit alone. You certainly don’t want to be walking around “dangerous” places at night all on your own.
6/ To stop yourself from getting bored when out & about, take a good book. You can read it at a restaurant, or when you are out for a quite drink, this will help you fit in and not look like you are uncomfortable with being on your own
.
7/ If you have a mobile phone, take it with you on holiday and arrange so you can make calls from abroad. For people on holiday alone this can act as an important safety net. Take note of your hotel telephone number, local taxi numbers, local police etc.
The above list is not exhaustive and it will depend on what sort of person you are as to what tips you think are worthwhile. Many companies now cater solely for single travellers and there are even some who deal exclusively with women only singles holidays.
Use the search facility on directline-holidays.co.uk to find some great deals & offers on singles holidays.

Get lots of rest in the afternoon before the social. It’s going to be a long night. Dress in a sports coat and tie or a business suit. Casual Fridays have not caught on in Russia yet.
Bring pictures of yourself, your family, and photos that show your lifestyle, your home, and the area where you live. The women will love them and they will provide icebreakers in the conversation. They will also feel more comfortable with you.
Have a list of questions that you want to ask them. Don’t be afraid to be direct and to the point. You have minutes, not weeks, to get to know them. Bring a pen and small notebook to write down the names and phone numbers of the women you want to pursue after the social.
Yes, you want to be intuitive. Do you like the way she looks and carries herself? Do you feel comfortable with her? Is she interesting? Do you feel like you want to spend more time with her? Does she feel genuine? Does she seem attracted to you?
If you see the oversexed bombshell that you can’t wait to meet, and she is not on your profile list, go say hello if you are compelled. You don’t have to stay entirely with your profile list.
But you should at least try to meet the women on your profile list before you start talking to women at random. That will at least ensure that you have met some women you have a commonality with before you begin charming the disco queens, roller girls, university students, and lingerie models.
Say hello to everyone. Have fun. Just don’t forget why you are at the social.
Talk to each woman briefly. Get to know her. Look for some kind of personal connection between the two of you. Is she an interesting conversationalist? Does she have interesting hobbies or other characteristics that attract you? Would you like to spend more time with her? Would you like to get to know her better?
If so, make a note of her badge number and her name. You can arrange to meet her later after the social when you can spend more time with her.
A couple of tips on how to get an edge at the social. Find the owners of the local marriage agencies, or their representatives, that are at the social. They are usually mature men or women. They usually speak English fairly well. They are frequently surrounded by women from their agency that are accompanying them.
Ask Knowledgable Russian Women In Attendance For Recommendations.
Talk to them. Tell them a little about yourself. Who you are and what your are looking for. They know the women in their agency better than anyone and may be able to steer you to a woman in their agency who fits that description. Also, many of the tour companies have interpreters at the socials. If the interpreters or tour personnel have been with the tour company for a while or if they have been to socials from different companies, they may be familiar with some of the women that are attending.
Again, you can ask them who might fit your description of the women they know. Some of them may be reluctant to give that information, but you can always ask.
Bear in mind, many of the women attending the socials have been to more than one social from more than one tour company. Many of them have more experience at the socials than you do.
If you meet a woman that you are attracted to, you can talk to the tour personnel and ask them candidly if they know any reason why you would not want to get involved with her.
Listen carefully to their answers as people have their own presonal reasons for liking or disliking others. Sometimes they can be jealous or have a personality conflict with another woman. So take their comments in stride, but use all the resources available to you, including the other men in the tour.
Get their opinions of the women you are meeting. Listen to them. Evaluate their comments with your own judgement.

Guide to Spain Holidays
Spain has not been a true world power since it was defeated in the famous naval battle against England in 1588; it is still an incredibly beautiful country and one that is rich in history as well as in culture. It is also not a poor or uncivilized culture, being the ninth largest country in the world in terms of economy, and has the fifth largest economy in the European Union.
So what do you like to do?
If you like sports, then a holiday in Spain is a perfect choice, whether you want to play golf or watch a football game or plenty of other fun sporting activities. Go on a hike, go scuba diving in the Mediterranean sea, take a day trip to the Canary Islands, which are a Spanish territory, or stay in Spain and enjoy warm, sunny beaches right outside your hotel.
History
If you prefer history, then Spain has a lot to offer, from ancient castles to World Heritage Cities, of which Spain has the most of any single country in the world. Go exploring historic buildings and learn all about the history of this country which came within a hair’s breadth of controlling most of Europe through taking England.
Adventure & Night Life
If adventure and night life are more your style, then Spain has plenty to offer you, as well, especially since the famous Spanish siestas make for extra energy for late nights. For families, though, Spain also takes great pains to make their country a perfect destination.
Family & Kids
You and your family will love Spain, which is full of all kinds of fascinating treasures from interesting and fun museums to zoos and even safaris. There are nature trails to be walked, natural preserves to be explored, and aquariums to visit where you can even watch the dolphins at play for hours on end.
If your family is into wild rides, there are theme parks all over Spain that offer the family setting that you want and rides enough to satisfy almost any adrenaline junky (at least young adrenaline junkies). These parks are fun and exciting, and have a lot to offer families, including the wild fun that you want in a relatively safe space.
Spain is a beautiful and incredible country with a little of something to offer just about anyone, from the warm climate and beautiful landscapes to the gorgeous palaces and historical buildings and castles. This is a country that is very easy to fall in love with.
